As part of Fathom Re’s inaugural team, Matt brings over 24 years of experience in the reinsurance industry with expertise across accounting, claims, contracts, compliance, and operations. Before Fathom Re, he served as Head of Risk and Compliance for Juniper Re and BMS Re, where he was responsible for regulatory oversight and ensuring best practices across all departments. Earlier in his career, Matt held leadership roles at several successful reinsurance intermediary startups, including Axiom Intermediaries LLC (acquired by Brown & Brown), Advocate Reinsurance Partners LLC (acquired by BMS Re), and Trean Intermediaries LLC (acquired by BMS Re).

Matt earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a Master of Business Administration from Elon University.
