Mark brings nearly four decades of reinsurance industry experience with expertise in treaty and program broking across property and casualty lines, including alternative market facilities for captives, group self-insurance funds, and affinity groups. Prior to Fathom Re, Mark was a Partner at Trean Intermediaries and continued with the organization following its acquisition by BMS Re in 2021. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles with JLT Re/Guy Carpenter, Re Group Intermediaries, Axiom Re/Brown & Brown, Aon Re, and Bates Turner LLC (a subsidiary of GE Capital). He began his career at Willcox Intermediaries and also served as a Lloyd’s Substitute Broker in London.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from the University of Lynchburg and completed continuing education in insurance and reinsurance at The College of Insurance (St. John’s University) in New York.
